Let's be honest here. Some people, maybe not you, but someone you know, spend more money than they know what to do with it. And that, alongside many other factors can lead to some rather bad behaviour in people. Again, not you, but maybe someone you know. What I mean is some people, like those on the FaceBook Marketplace are selling things like gift vouchers, like for, say a video game shop, for double what it's worth. Or, they might be selling a Funko TM Vinyl POP figure for an overly inflated price, like, say, $300-$400. It's ridiculous to say the least, considering greedy and selfish people, as far as I can tell, only want the one thing they can't have; freakin' huge fistfuls of cash, and enough money for them to live out their greedy fantasy, until they get bored, or die, or something.
Why are people so selfish, and greedy? This is something I don't think I'll ever get. Especially considering some people like to spend more money than they know what to do with it, and as a result, make selfish, and rather impulsive buys for useless stuff, or expensive things. Or, they spend it on a holiday that they'll go on alone, and not have anyone else come along with them. It's annoying, and selfish, and inconsiderate. Although, I seem to remember hearing somewhere that money is what makes the world go around. Although again, in that same breath, I could also say a much truer statement, which is 'money is the root of all evil'. I didn't quite understand what that meant when I was about...oh, let's say, 12 years old, when I'd read it in a MAD magazine. But now, I completely understand; money, although can be used to help people, and is a requirement for many a job, like construction, being a cashier, and so on, but at the same time, it also has the power to corrupt people.
People like Donald Trump, who fail to realize that, yes, a wall around the border of Mexico seems like a good idea, would cost more to keep up than it would be to build it, and that money could be used to help people with a low income job, or those that are living below the poverty line in America.
People, I'm sorry to say, are selfish, greedy (and please forgive me for saying this), bastards, who have little to no respect for one another. With the exception of a small handful of people, like you and me, who'd be willing to help others out of the kindness of our own hearts. Which is more than I can say for others...especially some of the drivers on our roads, and especially in car parks (or, if you're American, parking lots). What I mean, is one minute, you're minding your own business, just casually driving to get from one destination to the other, then the next minute, you try and merge, and some idiot not only speeds up their car, or SUV or whatever they're in, and when they've successfully cut you off, they immediately slow down by say, 10 or 20 kilometers. So, I ask you, if you decided to speed all the way to where we are now, just to get in front of us, then what's the point of slowing down when you've cut us off, or unexpectedly pulled in front of us. You could cause an accident, and that would be on you. Not me, the good honest driver, you but the dishonest one. I'm probably going to say this one last time, but again, not you the reader, as far as I know, but the dishonest driver in the other car.
What do you think? Do you agree with this, or do you have your own 2 cents about the issue I've talked about? In any case, if you liked reading this, please give this a like, consider sharing with your friends, and if you're new to my page, don't forget to follow me.
