Hello everyone. This is the TOFSurvivor, here with a new update. Last night, I was out on my usual walk, as I would do, when out of seemingly nowhere, my dog, let's call her, Sophie, got attacked by a dog. A vicious staffy. Good news, I managed to save sophie. Bad news? I got bruising on my fingers, on my left hand, and a small bite wound trying to save her. In addition, my dog Sophie, got pretty badly injured. A bite wound on her front left leg, bleeding, muscle from bone injury as well. Not pleasant. Sophie is recovering as well as she can. She was very shaken up last night, and is eating and drinking, though not much. At least I know she's safe, and somewhat okay.
This is the dog in question. If anyone knows it, or recognizes it, any information would be greatly appreciated.
So, we're going to talk to council today, to see what can be done about this issue. This dog in the image may look innocent, but it was vicious. I tried to drag it back to where I saw it come from, but it got out of the collar it was wearing, and went straight back to attacking Sophie. I also tried pinning it, shouting to Sophie to run. I couldn't hold them for long it seems. But, thanks to the help of some bystanders, I was able to get that dog under control, get Sophie to safety, and get home as safe as possible. She had to be taken to the vet, but she's ok now. Or, at least as ok as possible. If I hadn't interveined, it could've been much, much worse.
Hopefully something gets done, and the owners of that dog that attacked Sophie foots the bill.
