People, we have a problem. It's not a huge problem, like Global Warming, or terrorism. It certainly isn't 2 leaders threatening to push 'The Button'. And it's not the threat of gang violence. It's something a little less scary, but still serious. Most people, on Facebook, Instagram, twitter, and the like, all have friends, or followers, or something like that.
You're probably wondering where I'm going with this. Well, I'll tell you; it's a curse that's been placed on some innocent people. Maybe not you, certainly not me. But one thing is for certain, this curse, is a serious one; the curse...of the SHEEPLE!! What I mean by this, are those that would blindly follow someone because either they trust them, want to be popular, or don't know any better. The people who would follow someone around like a lackey, or something. Some of the best examples, can be found in TV shows, movies, even real life. Of course, you've probably seen a fair few of them, but I'll list some examples, just for you, the reader. Please note, the leader of each group/pair shall be listed first, then it'll be the lackeys/blind followers/sheeple, and in brackets, the name of the movie/tv show they came from. I'll be sure to say what kind of movie/TV show it is within the brackets too. Without further ado:

Honestly, those are the only 2 I can think of. I've always been told by my parents, all throughout my life '***, I want you to always march to the beat of your drum. Never become one of the Sheeple, and just be you'. I never forgot that, and I still remember those wise words to this day. I'll forever march to the beat of my own drum, instead of marching to the beat of someone else's. What kind of person would I be if I blindly followed someone, because I didn't know any better, or if I wanted to be popular? In truth, I wouldn't say I'm popular, but I am likeable, once others get to know me, especially when it comes to my work ethic. I don't just put in my all when it comes to my jobs, I put in my all, and then some.
But seriously. The curse of the Sheeple is real. The only way those affected can be freed from this curse, is if those people decide to think for themselves, instead of following the orders of some other stupid idiot, who wants to be popular themselves. I'm not saying, mind you, to disrespect your teachers, or some other adults. The teachers help you learn important knowledge, and the adults help you learn right from wrong, when you need/needed guidance.
