Hello everyone, and a Merry Christmas to you. This year has almost come to a close, and I wish you all the happiest of holidays today. Once again, the christmas tree was exploding with presents all around. I woke up early this morning to find a few wonderful gifts in my stocking; 'Gears of War: Ultimate Edition' for Xbox One, a Cards against Humanity 4th Expansion pack, 4 Cadbury Santa chocolates, and Homer Simpson socks. The family also enjoyed their gifts, and the cards I gave them were well received I thought...heh. Especially my dad's card. That one was so him. In addition, we got thoroughly spoiled rotten by 2 of the best parents I'll ever have the pleasure of knowing, and loving. Mum got some coffee for her coffee machine, Dad got 2 seasons of the 'Dexter' TV show, Sister #2 got Funko figures, one from My Hero Academia, another from FNaF Sister location, and sister #1 got something awesome; Harry Potter Funko's. Trelawny I believe was one of the ones she got, and same with Filch with Mrs Norris (cat) funko figure.
Although, I celebrate the holidays, I also sympathize with those who may have lost a loved one, several loved ones, or someone close to your family, or heart. I feel deeply sorry for your loss. In my family, we once again honored the tradition of reading some corny christmas jokes, in honor of my Pop. You may have seen me mention him in a few posts before, but to be fair, he was a big part of out family. In any case, we do that because my pop always did love a bon-bon joke. So, I wrote some up, and Sister #2 had them printed, and glued onto the back of red bits of paper. Here's my one: Why does Donald Trump have his christmas dinner on a plastic plate? Because he doesn't get on with China.
In any case, my family hosted christmas this year for a total of 17 people. That was my immediate family of 5 people, my nanna, my uncle on my dad's side of the family, my Grandma and grandpa, my cousins on both sides of the family (3 on my mum's side, and 2 on my dad's side of the family), 1 auntie from my dad's side of the family, and 2 uncles (brothers on my mum's side of the family) whom I haven't seen in a long while. We laughed at the jokes we had, shared stories and experiences about the year, and when our christmas lunch/dinner was over, my cousins, sister and I went off to the park down the end of our street, and had a short lived, but nonetheless fun water-balloon fight. Sister #1, because she wasn't near her water balloon supply kept on taking balloons from our side, and attempted to pelt us with the water filled ammunition. Sadly, not many of them popped, or exploded on contact. Worth it though, considering the hot weather today.
And the best part of today? My mum, and my nanna made their famous Tiramisu, and Sausage Balls. Seriously, I don't know what goes into those little sausage balls, but they taste so amazing. Practically all the food was shared and eaten. And tomorrow, some families will get to do it all again tomorrow, because of it being boxing day, and some families get to do that. Anyway, how did christmas go for you all? Were you safe? Do you have any other christmas traditions? Let me know in the comments below, and be sure to like and share this if you enjoyed this. Merry christmas to all, and to all, a good night.
