It's always been a mystery to me as to why people insist on committing crimes, when they know deep down, they know they're going to get caught. Why do people insist on committing crimes like drug dealing, Grand Theft Auto (The crime of stealing a car, not the game series), murder, and so on. I guess thinking about it, it might have something to do with the fact they want to try and make ends meet, because of their dead-end job. Maybe it's because they fall into the wrong crowd, and get sucked in or tricked into doing something illegal. Maybe other times, it's simply for the thrill of doing the crime, or to see what they can get away with. Maybe it's because of a feud, or a grudge, or blood debt or something.
Still, I'm not those kind of people, who would willingly commit a crime. I don't feel the need to go out, and to rob some place, or murder someone. I don't have that desire to steal a car, because it's there, or to steal because I want what I can't have. So why do other people? Who in their right mind would want something like this image to be their new home?

Sometimes, when I was younger, there was one show I enjoyed watching. Think of it like a talent show, but in a prison. It was called, The Slammer. Here's a video I found of the show. I haven't watched it in a few years, mind you, so there's that:
But as I got older, shows like World's Hardest Prisons became the grim reality as to what it was like on the inside. I already knew morally that committing a crime would be wrong, but shows like that just confirmed it; I, The 'TOF Survivor', don't want to spend any time, behind bars, for any reason.
So if you're someone reading this post, and you know that you can't do time behind bars, let this be a warning: If you can't do the time, don't commit the crime. But if you're someone who would never want to do anything against the law, that's good. Tell them about this post, and let them know that it's not right to hurt someone else. Because at the end of the day, you aren't just hurting some stranger, or strangers. The person you're really hurting, is you. The person who can make the conscious decision to just say no, to doing anything against the law.
